It's Softball Registration Time!

Help us get the word out!  Humboldt Fastpitch has been serving ALL OF Humboldt County since 2011, including Hoopa, Willow Creek, Blue Lake, McKinleyville, Arcata, Freshwater, Fortuna, Ferndale, and all of Southern Humboldt! We encourage parents to look closely at what Humboldt Fastpitch provided in 2018:

    • 34 teams in 4 different age divisions, 
    • nearly 400 players scattered throughout Humboldt County,  
    • had access to and played on 13 different fields, and 
    • hosted an opening jamboree and two separate tournaments

2019 Rec Season - Registration Opens January 7th

Online Registration Opens January 7th for the
2019 Humboldt Fastpitch Girls Recreational Softball Season!

Registration will open January 7 for the 2019 Spring Season of Humboldt Fastpitch, the Recreation Division of Mad River Girls Fastpitch Softball Association, and will remain open thru March 3rd, 2019.  Registration after the March 3rd deadline will NOT be allowed. However, all players are asked to register as early as possible through the online system as it helps the all-volunteer staff to the determine the number of teams per age division, uniform needs, and in scheduling the upcoming season.

The Recreation Division Softball Skill Assessment will be posted on the Association’s website and/or facebook page as they become available. Attendance is strongly encouraged for age groups 10u and older as it helps to distribute player skills equally among the different teams.  Also note that attendance at the assessment is mandatory for all players requesting to petition to play up in age divisions.  Please stay tuned for more information.

We highly encourage you to pay the registration fee online by credit card.  However, if you must pay by check/cash, please print the confirmation page and provide with your payment so we can properly credit your account.  For those unable to pay by credit card using our secure online system, payment may be made on-site at the assessment or mailed to MRGFS Registrar, PO Box  4361, Arcata, CA 95518.
